Fir Chlis house is built over two floors, with spectacular panoramic views from the top floor. The house blends traditional materials which reflect the Hebridean landscape, with a modern interior thoughtfully furnished with relaxation in mind. Extra-thick insulation and central heating throughout ensures snug autumn and winter stays.
Downstairs
Downstairs are three comfortable bedrooms, all with built-in wardrobes and beds with pocket sprung mattresses. Also included is a fully equipped utility room with a washing machine, tumble dryer, and plenty of room for hanging gear.
Covered Entrance
The entrance way offers protection from the elements and space for bikes.
Bedroom 1
The master en-suite bedroom with king-size bed and underfloor-heating is at the back of the house “in the hills”.
En-suite Bathroom
The en-suite shower room, with large walk-in “rainwater” shower
Main Bathroom
The main bathroom has a large deep bath, for those that enjoy a soak and separate invigorating shower.
Bedroom 2 – Double
The second bedroom with a king size bed and oriental feel.
Bedroom 3 – Twin
The third bedroom with twin beds which can be joined to another double. It has a more traditional Scottish feel with local artwork.

The upper floor is taken up by an open plan living area. A large covered west-facing balcony is perfect for viewing jaw-dropping island sunsets. There is a separate study and cloakroom that doubles as a home-cinema. A perfect space for those who like to relax with a bit of entertainment.

Furnished to a high standard with a bright spacious, open plan living area, with built-in sound system & speakers. Choose a book and sink into the plush sofa, in front of the wood-burning stove, or just watch the ever-changing view.
Modern, spacious kitchen
For amateur chefs and bakers, there is a fully-equipped kitchen with dishwasher, oven, fridge/freezer and espresso maker.
Dining area
A large concrete dining table for healthy appetites from a day on the beaches or mountains.
Covered balcony
Enjoy a drink while watching the shifting colours of the beach or the glorious sunsets over Taransay from the balcony.
Study en-suite (fourth bedroom)
The study has a sofa-bed which can make it a fourth bedroom, with an en-suite shower.

Wi-Fi is supplied via a reliable high-speed satellite broadband connection. The study doubles as your own home cinema with projector and sound-bar (you provide the pop-corn).
